How to reset your password on the upgraded IremboGov.

This article provides a detailed step-by-step guide to resetting your password on the new IremboGov due to different reasons, such as forgetting it or security concerns.

Prerequisites: 

To reset the password, an applicant can use: 

• an email address 

• a Rwandan phone number that corresponds to their national ID number.

Note: Dial *125# to check if your phone number corresponds to your NID.

Follow these simple steps to reset your account’s password: 

1. Visit new.irembogov.rw and click the “Log In” link.

2. You will be redirected to the login page. Click the “Forgot password” link.

3. A One Time Password (OTP) will be sent to your email address or phone number, depending on your choice. Then click “Reset Password.”

4. Enter the One Time Password (OTP) sent to your phone number or email address. Click “Continue”.

5. Create and enter your new password. Click “Reset Password” after confirming your password.

6. If you see this screen you have successfully reset your password and you can now log in with your new password.

7. Revisit the upgraded IremboGov Platform at new.irembogov.rw and log in with your newly reset password.
