How to Sign Up for an Account on the upgraded IremboGov.

This article provides a detailed, step-by-step guide for creating an account on the upgraded IremboGov platform. 

Prerequisites: 

• Applicants should have a Rwandan National ID corresponding to their phone number. 

Note: Dial *125# to check if your phone numbers are associated with your National ID.

Follow these simple steps to create your account.

1. Visit www.new.irembo.gov.rw and click “Sign Up.”.

2. A new page is displayed. Follow a 3-step process to set up your account. 

1. Submit Required Information: Enter your ID number and Phone number, and click on Register.

Note: When you click 'Register,' you are confirming your acceptance of the new Terms of Use, which also include the Privacy policy of IremboGov. 

2. Account Verification: A verification code/One-Time Password (OTP) is sent to your phone number via SMS notification. Enter the OTP and click on Submit. 

3.  Set Your Password: Enter your new password and confirm it. Then, click on Set new password.

Now, you are good to go! You shall receive an SMS notification from Irembo to confirm your account has been created.
